Timawa is part of a series of illustrations on our Zine titled Elements. The feudal warrior class of ancient Visayas, the Timawa, serve as military powers to the Datus of society. The timawa are born and trained to be warriors and hunters, but some of the Uripon class can rise up as timawa when they gain their freedom. They have no obligated allegiances, but to the person they alleged themselves to. Postcard 4in x 6in
